Master class Sietze de Vries

As part of the International Martini Organ Competition Groningen, eight master classes will be given on various organs in the city and surrounding area. In addition to participants of the IMOCG, conservatory students, professional organists and advanced amateurs can register for these, via this registration form on the website www.imocg.nl. Participation costs €50.

The first IMOCG masterclass is in the capable hands of Sietze de Vries: under his guidance, participants will venture into the art of improvisation. Place of action is Sietze de Vries’ own Kerkhuis in the village of Niezijl, where he has several organs, among which an Eertman-organ (1907).

For interested audiences:
Due to limited space in the Kerkhuis, there is room for a maximum of 25 listeners. Therefore, please register via or info@imocg.nl stating ‘attend master class Niezijl’.

Entrance to the masterclasses (as a listener) and the first round is free.
